2024 Ford Ranger Raptor Redesign, Specs, Engine – The New 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor is a scaled-down version of the F-150 Raptor, known for its high top speed and impressive aerodynamics. Flared fenders, rugged tires, more ground clearance, and a distinctive grille are just some off-roading features coming to the Ranger. The Raptor version of the Ranger will share the same boxed ladder frame as the standard Ranger, but it will feature a longer travel suspension to help it soar over jumps and a more potent engine to help it speed through the desert. The Ford will come in a single configuration, with the cab joined to a 5-foot cargo area. The cabin needs some unique touches and a fully-featured entertainment system.
After the worldwide debut of the Ranger Raptor, Ford officially announced that it would be available in the United States. Before the formal announcement, we saw spy photographs of it in testing and a camouflaged prototype of the next-generation Ranger. By next year, dealers in your area will be selling the Raptor variant.
2024 Ford Ranger Raptor Redesign
An aggressive new look complements the Ranger Raptor’s improved performance. The Raptor’s fender flares are thicker than the conventional Ranger; the front fascia is unique. It features large, bold FORD lettering, and the vehicle sits higher to accommodate the wider track. Although the wheels are only 17 inches in diameter, the BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires are enormous and Beadlock capable. Raptors will only be offered in crew cab configurations and come with various Raptor decals for individuals who want to stand out—as if the big 2.3 mm-thick front bash plate didn’t exist. At the back of the car, you can see the unique dual exhaust pipes and the large Raptor logo.
We anticipate Ford’s Velocity Blue and Antimatter Blue paint hues as signature colors, along with other colorful Ford shades like Code Orange on the palette, as no Ranger Raptor would be complete without unique colors. One may assume that Rapid Red, shown on a truck at the presentation, will be the flagship hue for this particular model. Despite its classification, the Ranger Raptor will be bigger than most midsize trucks. The outer dimensions of the Ranger Raptor will grow by a further two inches over those of the standard Ranger, which are based on a wheelbase and track that are already two inches larger and wider than the Ranger we know and love. We predict a wider body by a few inches, probably about 80 inches, to allow a track to be enlarged by several more inches, but the measurements have not yet been verified. The wheelbase will remain around the same, at around 129 inches. The most significant difference will be in the ride height, which will increase by two inches thanks to the installation of long-travel shocks.
The interior of the Raptorized Ranger will differ slightly from the standard model. Ford spruces up the interior with unique features, albeit the standard fare consists of hard plastics and some rubberized materials. The export model’s front seats and door panels are padded and upholstered in leather and microsuede. In complement to a set of aluminum paddle shifters, the steering wheel should feature a red band around the noon position to emphasize its focus on performance. We think it provides the same essential and optional options as the base vehicle, such as dual-zone automated climate control, heated front seats, remote start, and more. There will likely be only one Ranger Raptor configuration, a crew cab with a 5-foot cargo bed.
Each Ranger Raptor should use Ford’s newest Sync infotainment system, which runs on a touchscreen at least eight inches in size. That would mean the inclusion of a Wi-Fi hotspot that requires a subscription, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The widebody Ranger will include several charging points and possibly other features like built-in navigation and a Bang & Olufsen audio design with 12 speakers.
A 3.0-liter V-6 with twin turbochargers is expected to produce 392 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque in the 2024 Ranger Raptor. It’s possible, though, that those numbers differ significantly from the American version. The Raptor will feature a firmer suspension and more robust off-road equipment than its more pedestrian predecessor. It includes wider front and rear tracks, bigger tires, and a higher ride height to increase ground clearance. Standard four-wheel drive with locking front and rear differentials and a 10-speed automatic transmission are virtually identical to those in the Ford Bronco Raptor.
Ford has not yet made public the 2024 Ranger Raptor’s MPG figures. We will revise this report whenever that occurs. 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor Release Date and Price
Assuming everything goes according to plan, the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor will debut in the United States in the summer. Ford CEO Jim Farley has only confirmed that the Ranger Raptor will be available in the United States sometime in 2024, even though it was teased alongside the global debut of the new Ranger pickup truck. It’s expected that the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor will cost more than any other Ranger model. While many sources have put the starting MSRP at $52,500, we wouldn’t be surprised to see it grow to $60,000 in light of the Bronco Raptor’s price.
